Fiyin Koko
Multi-Disciplinary Artist.
Fiyin’s artistic practice blends fantasy, storytelling, and artivism across various mediums, including mixed media paintings, sculptures, photography, installations, and digital illustrations.
With every brushstroke and composition, she weaves narratives that provoke thought, challenge societal norms, and invite deeper conversations. Her residency at AMAH will be an opportunity to witness her creative evolution firsthand.
Starting March 4th, Fiyin will establish her studio space at AMAH, immersing herself in the process of artistic exploration. Throughout her residency, we will document and share her journey, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes content, interviews, and live insights into her work.
The end goal of this residency is to develop a star piece, a defining artwork that will serve as the focal point of her exhibition, wrapping up her time with AMAH on March 29th.
A major highlight of this experience will be the Open Studio on March 8th, where guests will be invited to engage with Fiyin’s process and participate in a live painting session. This event is not just an opportunity to witness the artist at work but to be part of a broader conversation about womanhood, creativity, and artistic expression.
We invite you to follow along, engage, and celebrate this momentous journey with us. Fiyin Koko’s residency marks a significant step in AMAH’s mission to foster dynamic, thought-provoking artistry, and we look forward to sharing this experience with our growing community.
